Aloha. My name is Bailey. My journey has taken me from my hometown in Michigan to Hawaii. After growing up with 9 (yes, nine) younger brothers and sisters, God has blessed me with my marine. He has carried me through much and brought me to live on the Hawaiian island of Oahu.
Most of my days are spent consuming more coffee than doctors recommend and snuggling with my two dogs, Cooper and Marley. Despite bumps and fights with Hubby over how many books one needs to keep in a house (obviously as many as the house will fit), we have a beautiful life in a place many people only dream of living.
I am a thin person. Not literally of course. This is a very figurative thin. I love my life but often it stretches me to the end of myself, to a place where I’m not quite sure how I’m even being held together. But I am held.
So I write about being held. Through chronic pain, depression, and infertility. But mostly, I write about the sufficiency of God’s grace in these very thin places and moments of my life and how He is weaving together a beautiful story for my good and His glory.
Recently, I have had the privilege of becoming a contributing writer for Her View From Home. I’ve enjoyed the diversity and beauty of this community and the chance to write about more diverse topics than this forum allows.
