Walking into Holy Week – Free Holy Week Guide

Lent is almost at an end. Holy Week is here, ready or not.

This has been a Lent where my house was unexpectedly full almost every day. But it has also been a Lent where I’ve broken my fast, yelled at my husband, and expressed apathy towards the opportunities the Lord has given me.

In many ways, I’ve failed Lent (read more about that here.)

But nevertheless, Holy Week is here and despite my unfaithfulness, God is faithful to me. I try so hard, but I am simply not enough. I will never be enough. But that’s okay, because He is more enough.

This Holy Week, I am focusing on His ability to cover the sin in my life with His mercy. Would you like to join me?

It’s so easy to dwell on the ways that you’ve ‘failed’ at being a follower of Christ, so I love that you are looking to the future and trusting in God’s forgiveness for your mistakes! I try to do that too, but sometimes it’s easier said than done.

Hello, I’m Bailey
about me

Hello, I’m Bailey

The Thin Place was born out of a season of struggle. A season where I felt stretched thin and desperately longed to see the goodness of God in the land of the living. The goodness of God showed up in unexpected ways. During that season, the spiritual disciplines laid out in Scripture, the traditions of the Church, and the reminders of His faithfulness seen in liturgial living and the feasts and seasons of the Church calendar all opened my eyes to the hope we have in Christ.
